jammin83, buddy, that afobazole sure sounds promising. I'm going to check it out on Amazon. There seems to be a plethora of Russian drugs that seem very worth while.
Back to an earlier post. I have had to withdraw from, in my case, benzodiazepines at a much quicker than suggested or safe rate. Now older, wiser, faster, stronger (sorry Daft Punk fan) I understand different methods of tapering for different occasions.
Now, I've never been this bad in recent memory, but if I for example were facing a nightmare withdrawal from something as dangerous as benzodiazepines, I would be looking for something that may help cushion the drastic blow I was about to receive.
In regards to Gabapentin, sure you can get "addicted" to it, and its own withdrawal can suck, but when used to help with the acute (most dangerous period) of benzodiazepine withdrawal, the benefits outweigh the risks. Mix in a proper tapering method and the withdrawal side effects will be minimal.
jammin83 is correct in pointing out how important a proper tapering plan is.
The more time you spend learning, planning and sticking to a proper taper, the safer and easer a withdrawal will be.
I forgot to add, I'm suprised that no one mentioned magnesium and its nmda blocking effects. It's suppose to aid withdrawal.
To whomever, there are many options and much information on this subject if you wish to delve any further into it. Search engines and diffrent threads on this site will help a great deal.
