As I was saying I've missed before, (opana ir) and it caused a bump there to swell and even once caused my wrist to swell up. Eventually, after a few days it went down. But this time there is one of the back of my hand, and it's actually gotten a bit worse. Painful. Like gravity applied to it is painful sometimes. and it's now off color meaning it's a bit red like something swollen would be. Of course it's warm to the touch. I've also felt like*Shit* lately. I thought maybe I was getting the flue, or maybe it was just getting used to the dosing schedule. THe strange thing about this one is that there is no bruise and there is no hard little lump like the others had. it's just swollen.

Here is my concern. I don't want to stroll into the hospital and risk being redjected my pain medicine. I'm trying to get a more accurate picture, or to narrow down what it could be Exactly!

There is a ton of advice, but most of it says, GO the Dr. ASAP. I suppose I should but I'm trying one last ditch effort. IS there someone who is more experienced who can say maybe if I can just throw some antibiotics at it? DO you know what kind?

The reason I'm worried is because this one actually seemed to get a little worse ! That can't be good right? And I do feel sort of weak and flue like.

Needless to say I'm a bit scared. I am considering driving to a hospital that is half way across the state, so that my records don't mix ??? Any ideas there?

IT's not the only lump I have from a missed shot, but its the only one that seemed to get slightly worse. **********IS THERE a specific sign I should watch for that tells me, "Ok you waited long enough, it's probably going to need medical attention! " . Like, maybe if I have a fevor or something? or if it turns a certain color? or? Like it said, it's redish and the back of my hand is indeed swollen. yOU cant see the veins, etc. IT doesn't seem to have spread to anywhere. THe difference between this one and the others is that it is not just a hard little bump. It's my entire back of hand that is swollen. When the needle went in on the back of hand in the area between the index and middle finger(about an inch under that), I remember I was pretty frustrated, and I think I went too deep. So I don't know anatomy of what is right there, but maybe I hit an artery? or? I was doubting this as an option because someone else wrote a post saying that it turned their harnd instantly red and purple spots...That isn't the case. This one was hurt immediately(I thought I hit a nerve), but it didn't realy swell until last night and today. Do you need a picture?

WHat will they do ? Will they just give antibiotics? If so I could probably find some myself.(Such as clindamyacin)(spelling?) . It's fairly strong.

Finally , if I do go to the ER what can I expect? Thanks very much for taking a moment to answer this timely questions.~!

Great now I have a temp of 102.2 I began taking both "Clyndamiacin" and "Erythromycin", but they are both older prescriptions so ?

Brother you need to go to the ER asap. These are the kinds of things that can get much worse if not dealt with in a timely manner. Just be completely honest with the docs so they know exactly what they are dealing with. You may get some judgment from what I have experienced but fuck you need treatment. All the best!

Go to the ER. You don't have to tell them that you have a prescription for the drugs so no need to worry about having them taken away. I'm closing this since we don't allow urgent threads like this.
