Idk the rules about the whole swim thing but i think its rediculous for the incriminalization thing. anyway i need some help..
Over the last 3-4 weeks, i bought an 8ball of molly every friday, for personal use. I took it every day, redosing throughout the day. I know its stupid, i took a day off rolling maybe once a week, if that. Id tell myself, ugh i shouldnt do more, then id redose .3 or more. Most of the time it was plugged or drank. Anyway, my brain felt, idk how to explain it, an uncomfortable hot fuzzyness. I drank enough water every day and stayed cool, stayed up for two days here n there. My questions are, when people say you can get brain damage, what kind of damage specifically? Is it permanent and what would i notice? Also how can i shake this unbearable depression now that ive stopped? Im more worried about possible damage though. Thanks bl! Please refrain from comments like ur a fkn moron, i understand i went a lil overboard, but i stayed taking precautions like vitamins, fish oil, etc. Not much food has been eaten tho.

Little overboard is an understatement.

Just stop using now. The more you do the longer it will take to recover. I would explain, but probably fail.

Someone else will hopefully explain better

Take vitamins like they're going out of style. Tons of water and good, healthy meals. Don't do any drugs, even weed is bad for your current state. All you can do is wait at this point. Try some 5-htp and maybe some other supplements that support healthy serotonin, dopamine and adrenal function.

Good luck man, and needless to say, don't do that again...

Yes, it's probably permanent. You won't notice, though, unless your current depressive mood persists long-term. Btw, I doubt you were even taking MDMA, but in high enough doses, (m)ethylone causes the same type of damage. (M)ethylone are also more prone to re-dosing than MDMA, which is much more satisfying than they are. Did you test it? Did it last 1 to 3 hours or 4 to 6 hours?

I second this. Probably was NOT MDMA. test your drugs kids.

The substance WAS tested, and showed a strong result for good mdma. Its in fact legit molly. I think my diet took more damage than my brain though. i was always fairly safe with precautions, and im actually not too bad atm. Theres moments tho were im overcome w depression but it passes.

the rules say that swimming is forbidden here at bluelight. we also think it's ridiculous ;)

for occasional use, current research says that you can get reversible dysregulation of the serotonin system (altered levels of available serotonin and serotonin receptors) and reversible dysregulation of cortisol. this can lead to depression, anxiety, mood swings, difficulty concentrating and "brain zaps" or decresed stress resistance respectively.
for the kind of usage pattern you report we don't have any good studies (or studies at all. thankfully it isn't that common), so we could only guess if it's temporary or permanent. there are studies reporting that taking a smaller dose will protect from damage from a large dose a few days afterwards, so i would expect there to be some kind of plateau with the brain getting used to abuse, but then again you say that you kept redosing all day, which might greatly exacerbate damage and actually kill brain cells, but there's no research so your guess is as good as mine.

you can only do what we recommend to everyone feeling aftereffects: don't do any kind of drug (even legal ones), eat healthily (vitamins are usually utilised much better if they are contained in food than in supplements), try to keep a positive mindset and give it some time. you will definitely see some improvement.
