Tomorrow morning(well today in a few hrs actually) I plan on dosing 4mg of dilaudid. My usual dosage is only 2mgs but i've been using suboxone lately so im not sure where my tolerance is gonna be. I havent used dilaudid in over a year. I've been using suboxone roughly 2 or 3 times a week max(i get high every time) at no more than 1 or 2 mgs the days I use. I'm wondering if I will even feel the 4mg of dilaudid, or is my tolerance to opiates roughly the same as it used to be? I also have one last 1mg strip of sub left and was wondering if I could take it in the morning and then dose the dilaudid at night, or will the suboxone dull the experience? I have not used suboxone for the last two days if that helps. Thanks

Take the dilaudid before using the last of your sub. Yes your tolerance will be higher than a opiate virgin, but if you've waited two days (and depending on how much of the bupe/sub you've been using) you should be able to feel it. I'd start low though, 2mg or so and do the rest later if needed to get where you'd like to be.

Hope that helps.

Bupe can confuse that^.

I agree that you should take the Hydromorphone before the Suboxone, especially if you want the best chance of not having the dilaudid's effects dulled by the buprenorphine. Luckily, you've been taking a small enough dose of suboxone (and equally as important I should add, is that you only dose the subs every third day), that I would imagine the Hydromorphone would work. What ROA are you using btw? When it comes to Dilaudid, ROA can mean a huge difference, as there's almost a 70% increase in BA when the drug is administered intravenously instead of orally.
