I am looking for some advice about coming off of mgm15. (Also I hope im doing bluelight right, i dont know a ton about how youre supposed to post threads on here)

Quick back story- I started taking it a couple of months ago, not sure if it really matters how long... ive taken opioids for chronic pain for over 15 years, i see a pain management doctor and im pretty good about taking them 'mostly' responsibly. I dont ever go without them completely, although by the end of the month i end up taking them much more sparingly. When i discovered mgm15 i thought it would be a good way to make my pain meds last a little longer. I realized all too late how addictive it is.

So now, the supply i had is running out and im trying to draw on the knowledge of others for the best way to deal with coming off of it.

To get through this i will have a supply of: morphine 15mg pills, and percocet 7.5s, i ordered some liposomal vitamin C because i have read from other people that this will help... Ive also read people saying gabapentin will help- i am prescribed that also. And ativan- but i dont have a whole lot of that. I can get ahold of a few adderall also. And I know i will need some 7oh also to get off of the mgm15- Im fine with that- one thing at a time. And im about to order some Reset from tmk- which im very new to but i was told is the closest thing to SR17 i can get and im guessing this reset is the same thing as reset 2.0. (So much to research! 😵‍💫)

Before i realized how addictive mgm is, i tried to stop taking it for a couple of days and the restless legs/whole body was absolutely horrible. I hate that feeling more than anything in the whole world.

So if anyone has any tips or knows of something i havent mentioned already that would also help, please tell me. Im terrified based on my last experience of just trying to stop for a couple days. Or if anyone has a specific formula for what to take and when i would really really really appreciate any and all the help i can get. Ive read so many stories and comments and it all gets so complicated and confusing with the preloading this and how many mgs of that to take.

Im sorry this post is so long, but to whoever actually takes time out of their day to read all of this- thank you! And anyone with advice to give- i would be so grateful! Thank you all. These forums and all the supportive people and advice really helps a lot!

I am addicted to opioids. It started with co codamol (OTC med) then when to tapantadol - which it’s WILD!! Then oxys until I could afford them. I knew the co codamol wasn’t going to touch the withdrawals - as you know opioid withdrawals are unbearable! So I had to go buy a drug if NEVER thought. Heroin 🤦🏽‍♂️

Anyway, anough about me - I’m guessing your in the US what as I’m from the UK.
Is there no drug services you can call?
It was the best thing I’ve done with regards to opioid addiction,
I don’t know how different the process is over there but they put me on buprenorphine and I’ve never looked back, I’m in 8 mg which I’d pretty louw. I started in 12mg > 10mg > 8mg which is what I’m on now - soon I’ll bp

Yeah im in the us. And yeah im sure i could call someone but pain management doctors are so precarious im worried if I do that it will affect my ability to get my regular pain meds in the future. When you go to a pain management dr they make you sign a contract saying you wont take anything other than what they prescribe you or approve and that they have the right to basically fire you. I habe thought about just going to them with honesty, and if things get really bad I will. But id rather not worry that ill lose my regular pain meds too

Using Percocet and morphine to get off is a slippery slope. It can be done but requires willpower and self awareness. I actually used the same combo to get off Suboxone. Although my doses were much higher ie 30mg roxicodone and iirc 80mg morphine.

Do you have someone you trust that can hold your stash and also give you the doses at appropriate times? If so, then I would give it a shot. I had a family member hang onto the bottles of Oxy and morphine. They would give me the doses as I needed them. I started with like 5 or 6 roxi's per day dropping half a pill about every day or every other day depending on how I felt. Once the roxi's were gone I switched to the morphine. Again, same process; start at whatever dose is comfortable then slowly decrease.
