Hi Folks

Hoping someone can help or advise. SWIM and SWIMs GF went out friday night on the back of some MDAI. Ended up doing 500mg orally each over the course of the night. SWIM now (monday) feelin ok bit jaded/drained but SWIMS GF very dizzy/headachy and off work. TBH SWIM is a bit worried that SWIMS GF is still rough and realises dose was stupid. Wondering if anyone can advise whether SWIM should be worried and whether it will pass?

Any wise words welcome

:(

We don't SWIM here. It just sounds stupid.

Your gf should be alright in a few days. I would recommend that she hits the gym, eats healthy and doesn't use any more drugs.

Yeah, I think that some clean time might be in order. Eat well, drink lots of water, get some exercise, and the both of you will be fine.

No worries about the SWIM; some boards are keen on it, but we've been around long enough here to know that it offers precisely zero protection from LE, and sounds goofy. :)

Still feelin rough. Very panicky and cold sweats. Cant concentrate and feel sick. Sure it will just pass but thought it would've by now. ;-(

Hey Baloo, firstly, is it you who is still feeling shitty, or your girlfriend?

Either way, please rest assured that the way you are feeling now WILL pass. Sometimes, especially if we took a particularly high dose or a bigger combination of substances, it completely exhausts our brain and we can feel like crap for a much longer period of time than usual.
As you've probably already decided to do, I would strongly recommend that you (or your girlfriend, or both! :)) take a break from ALL drugs for a while, just to give your brain and body a good chance to fully recover. During this time, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, get in some good exercise at least a few times a week, and make sure you're getting enough good-quality sleep every night. Over time you will definitely feel back to normal. It might take a week, it might take a few weeks, but you will be okay <3

If you find that you are really struggling and you're not getting any better, please see to your doctor and tell them everything.

Good luck, and keep us updated :)

Both! She started off bad and has been getting better i wasnt too bad at first but feel awful today

Thank you for your kind words. Im sure your right just hard to see the wood for the trees at the moment.

Just such a horrific day.

So strange as a I felt so much better yesterday - think it's panic attacks I am having but worried about serotonin syndrome.

Im all over the place

Ok so ended up in a and e today. Freaking out all night and had to do something. Try ran bloods and a heart trace and took blood pressure and temperature and all normal. Gave me some diazepan which calmed me down at first but I am sat at home now still feeling dreadful and freaked out. Just want this to end.

MDAI can effect people pretty badly, I wouldn't have thought that 500mg orally over the course of a night would produce such negative effects, maybe it was a tainted batch or you both have an intolerance to the chemical. I doubt it is serotonin syndrome unless you have been taking other drugs that effect your serotonin at the same time as the MDAI.

Great advice, is basically what I was going to say but i don't think it could be said any better than that :)

Well. Finally beginning to feel human again. That was probably one of the most intense experiences of my life. Seriously scary. I can still feel residual anxiety and i am tired and sluggish but havent had a panic attack for a couple of days now and things seem to be returning to normal. Wont be touching that stuff again - Ive done a lot of things over the years and got in a lot of states but nothing as bad as that. Thanks for the support. ;-)
