****HELP**** Absinthe, what Dosage is Good?

Hey wussup everyone...
I'm doing Absinthe and I was wondering how much of it should I drink? I've never done it before...please help. Thanks!

just put a little bit in a small glass; just like you do with any strong liquor. If alcohol percentage is above 50% you should add water to prevent alcohol. If you don't feel the effects (they are subtle but good) you can always drink more. Don't do the sugar thing (increases the alcohol effect and it's just for the taste).
The active ingredient in absinth is thujone - it should be somewhere on the bottle (don't use the hills brand). My bottle of 10mg/kg is not good enough, 20mg/l with a lower then 50% alcohol percentage should be better.

Sugar increases alcohol content? I don't think so. Sugar may cause you to be dehydrated in large amounts, but one cube per glass won't kill you.
The *biggest* question that you need to answer before anyone can answer this: how'd you get your absinthe? Is it absinthe from a country that permits a high thujone content? Is it absinthe from another country that just has the anise taste? Or did you acquire it by using the leeching method w/wormwood in the everclear? The above post is assuming that you've accquired the absinthe from somewhere that it's legal.
But don't forgo the sugar. It tastes that bad. Trust me.

Try this, drink a little bit, if you aren't fucked up enough, drink more. If your intoxication level is still lacking, continue to increase your dose. Then, when everything feels like it might start spinning put down your glass or you will most likely throw up. This is the same advice I would give to anyone drinking alcohol, the mild hallucinations from the wormwood are more of an added bonus.

Most people would recommend not consuming more than two shots of absinthe. I have heard that the affects of the wormwood can take an hour to manifest themselves. A standard shot is an ounce an a half. Use a shot glass to measure. Mix with half a teaspoon or so of sugar in a larger glass. Add ice. Enjoy.

Just remember that there's a point where intoxication from the alcohol will override that of the wormwood. It comes *very* quickly if not properly distilled.
