Heylo everyone!
My name's Shawn, and I'm very proud to begin my activity here at Bluelight. Throughout the years the support of our community has likely saved my very life. I'm grateful to everyone here, especially our mod team that keeps the information flowing. Today I made my first post on Bluelight after years of utilizing it's extensive listing of threads and the information accompanying them.
I'd like to stay away from discussing he particulars of a 6 year career of substance use, for this post. Stay safe everyone, please.
I'm a young man at 24 years, light build and still rocking to exclusively 80s heavy metal like an addiction. I play keyboard and guitar and have been married for years to a beautiful young painter who has stood alongside me throughout my using days. I want to help contribute whatever I can. I feel almost guilty for staying on the sidelines for so long. If there's anyway I can help I'm here now, to talk if you're going through any difficulties and to lend whatever experiences I have to the collections.
I also have firsthand experience with PTSD and NPD. If you've experienced either, you are not alone, and you're not the first to end up into substance usage (by any means). If you need help I only hope I can provide my experiences dealing with addiction alongside my own issues.
