Hey there everyone, happy holidays guys!!!! :) Firstly, I feel compelled to thank anyone viewing & replying for their opinions on this, positive or negative. VERY greatly appreciated. I'm clearly a newbie and still learning the ropes here, I'm not a social networking person and was hoping to find an online friend or two here. Albeit you see, I have a SEVERE pharmacodynamic issue, searching for someone more informed/knowledgeable on Seroquel and Adderall. I'm on 100mg XR daily- now tapering off in preparation for administration of 40mg Adderall+perhaps 250mg stimulant OTC proplyhexedrine. Now, I'm well aware of Seroquel entirely cancelling out any such euphoric effects of CNS stimulants due to it's dopaminergic antagonism- BUT I have NOT a CLUE :? as to how long, with no stimulant tolerance and a high Seroquel 100mgXR tolerance, HOW LONG I should wait (whilst tapering off Seroquel) until it'd even make sense to take the Adderall for my ADD???? Wishing everyone had a wondrous Thanksgiving out there, and thank you for you input!!

Hi, Welcome to the site! ! Good questions, I took Seroquel for a long time personally. I am going to move your post to a forum that might be more supportive. Thanks for introducing yourself and Happy Holidays to you! Great user name btw. :)

Hello. Welcome Synthetic Solace. First things first. Lose the proplyhexedrine. That stuff is not good for your heart. If you add that to Adderall, that's just more strain on your heart. As you are aware, the 100mg of Seroquel XR, is basically blocking The effects of the Adderall to a pretty big extent. 40mg is plenty of Adderall for a person. It is important that your mind is right to decrease the Seroquel. Check out www.seroquelxr.com . This part is important. A big part of this depends on how long you have been taking Seroquel XR. I have read on a few sites, that some people needed 7 months to come off Seroquel. Keep that in mind and run this past your doctor. Theoretically, the lower your Seroquel dosage, the stronger the Adderall will become. If you have any questions, PM me and I'll try to help. Great question. Welcome to Bluelight. I'm pretty sure that a knowledgeable Bluelighter might drop off some more wisdom.
