Hello there,im Steve in Manchester,England.Been on dexedrine (dex-amphetamine) since 1997,the dose went from start out at 10 pills a day (50mg) up to a gp giving me 40 tabs a day (200mg) for 3 years.Who also double scripted me.They took it of me 2 half years ago along with my diazipam,it was a dull awful place in wythenshawe manchester.Rough dr bitch in hell.It pushed me on the streets as my mum and nan was dying at the same time as dexies dropping.It has cost me a mint on the streets aprox 200 pound ($360.00) a week,for as long as i can remember now,it takes all i have.At last ive got a chance to see a duel addiction drug type member...he sounds ok.Ive been trying to get a decent gp or psyciatrist to prescribe me after 12 years or so,of coarse i was totally accicted,wouldnt you be on 200mg a day.Ok....I have to see him on 4/aug/2011 please god let him give me my life back,ill be in nyc before you can say................

Wow that is simply crazy. I am on dextroamphetamine IR tablets for ADHD but I can barely stand taking more than one or two tablets per day.

I am appalled a doctor wrote a prescription for fourty tablets per day! 8o

Welcome to Bluelight, and best of luck getting over your problems with drugs! I know you can do it. :) It takes a lot of discipline and hard work, but it is well worth it. %)
 
Nice to meet ya friend. I'm also in my early re-recovery but things look better and I feel better EVERY single day. I have finally cleaned the skeletons from my closet and the toxins from my mind, body and spirit. Life is "normal" again and I'm living and loving it on life's terms. You can achieve this same bliss BUT ONLY if you want it. Like CH said, it's totally worth it...and so are you. :)
 
I am the new member of this forum really want to become the regular member of this forum. I am totally free these days and want to be occupies in my life.
