Hello, my name is J. I'm new to this site and really want to make sure I follow the rules first and foremost. I'm a Bay Area resident originally from Seattle. I'm traveling to Germany the end of next month, gonna freeze my ass off probably, and I really want to converse with Berlin locals to get a feel for certain activities in the city.

I'm going there for work although I'm arriving days in advance to have some fun, visit some museums, shop, explore, party, meet some cool locals with similar interests, etc. I hope this site works out in terms of support, friendship, etc.

Hi there and welcome to the site.

Berlin is a great city to visit and I'm sure you will have a great time (regardless of the weather). There is a bit about Berlin clubbing in EADD - It was buried a bit but you can always bump this thread.
