Hello there,
I'm Anthony, or as you may gather from the avatar, I spend time also as a female alter-ego, Amber. I have a long history of RC drug use; cannabis, ecstasy, occasional cocaine use, DOB. LSD, mushrooms and some unidentifiable things I consumed on good faith.
Those when the "fun" days. As my personal and emotional life deteriorated in my early 30's, I found a benzo dealer and bought 100 Onax 2mg bars. It wasn't long before sensible use as an occasional sleeper turned into an addiction; Rohypnol, nitrazepan, diazepam, tetrazepam, temazepam, alprazolam were all in my bedside drawer. I would up with a 200mg/day Diazepam addiction, got fired from my job and cold turkey'd it. Relapsed on Xanax a few months later and endured another soul-crushing, torturous withdrawal. Went into recovery, got clean from that stuff and never looked back.
Now that I'm a very different person from the bad old days of benzo addiction and am in a much healthier place, I've been investigating what things I can take that:
- Don't produce lasting hangovers i.e. ecstasy is wonderful for 3 hours followed by 5 days of bleak depression
- Are DEFINITELY not addictive
That pretty much limits me to mushrooms and acid, which is cool by me. I'm not really up on the newer, more designer stuff, not that I'm that interested. I'd rather stick with things with at least some decent scientific research into their effects.
Anyways, nice to meet you all.
