Hello,

I'm an opiate addict who is struggling or balancing on both sides of the fence in recovery or failure, depending on how one sees it. I was on Suboxone for nearly 3 years and due to mitigating circumstances was discharged from the clinic. I was on 10 mg daily of the 8 mg and 2 mg strips and did well until what happend, happend. I made it for a week or so until the withdrawl became unbearable from the strips. I relapsed back to Dilaudid via IV use on a daily basis and after being on that run for nearly 3 months, made it back into the same clinic I was discharged from. Now I am taking a 4 mg dose every other day because I'm afraid of going back up to a higher dose around 10 mg again after coming off these things cold turkey. Now here's the situation. Soon I have to have back surgery, its no longer an option and the reason why I am on the Dilaudid to begin with. I must come off the Suboxone until I heal up. Will I have problems with the Dilaudid, being that I take 4mg of Suboxone every other day? I'm afraid to bring these questions up with my doctor because of well...ya know? They begin to treat you like crap. Anyone else had a similar issue? And how long will the 4 mg of Suboxone block the Dilaudid? Thanks.

Don't dose your suboxone for 3/4 days, after that you'll be able feel the dilaudid fully. Good luck & welcome to BL!

Welcome to the site,

This section is normally used as a place for a quick hello and doesn't normally attract the attention of users that the focus forums do - if the above reply doesn't answer your question try our 'other drugs' section and I'm sure somebody can help you out (just copy your message over).

Hello partner, I really hope you make it through your situation without any problems.

Peace, Love, and Harmony, friend. :)
