Greetings from an old bird :)

I happened across this forum a while ago, I'm fascinated !!!

We didn't have access to such interesting reading when I was a lass ...... more's the pity ;)

Greetings Ruth! Glad to see another Brit join up :)

It's a while since I've been to Manchester, but last time I went I had a great time.

Thank you CFC.

Are we Brits thin on the ground here? Ah well, what matters is quality not quantity (so I'm told).

I've been in Manchester for the last 3 years-ish and I have to say, I'm having a splendid time :-)

And I've just noticed the advice re- putting my location so, having edited it, we'll say no more about that.

Sister Rags ........ 55 ? OLD? 8(

My dear girl, you are merely a slip of a thing %)

Mind you, when I hit 40 I thought I was old, trust me, you are not a wrinkly yet.
The scary thing is that time seems to accelerate as it goes by so enjoy yourself now because the next thing you know .... you wake up, look in the mirror and there's an old bird squinting back at ya 8o.

Brace y'self girlfriend :sus:

hey, the cool thing is that young dudes are in to more 'expereinced' gals. *winkwinnk* =)

You are absolutely right D's *wink wink*

It seems that SOME younger chaps DO have a thing about the more mature lady these days.

Mind you, I suspect my being totally gorgeous MAY have something to do with that :-) :-) :-)

I know I am right because I have a thing for more mature ladies, my last relationship was with a gal that was in her late 40's. Long story, but we were both homeless together, slept in the same tent, shed, bench. It could be made in a sweet love story of homeless love on the water front.

I agree, looking totally gorgeous may have something to do with it.

=)

37 yo here bruv.
I love to wake up at 5:30 in the morning ( east coast American time ) and listen to the BBC on the radio.
I’ve been here posting on Bluelighr.org and getting a warm reception from other members since I was 28.
Cheers mate

There's quite a few Brits about, mostly in the EADD forum

btw you can put your city in there Ruth, we just mean don't say something like:

"Hey I'm Ruth, just moved to Manchester, and btw I'm desperate for heroin *hint hint*" ;)

Aha .... I see .... The 'subtle as a paving slab' approach :).

Well, no fear of any of that kinda talk from me .... a pint of stella and I'm dancing on the table ;)

Hello beagleboy :)
I'm wondering what you listen to on the radio, to get you up at 5.30 in the MORNING 8o
I can't think of anything that would let me enjoy getting up THAT early 8(
Mind you ... I don't sleep till about 3.00 am =D

I'm loving your opening line ... "37yo here bruv"
I don't hear that a lot round these parts :D
