how many posts would you suggest i accumulate before making an actual thread in the OD forum?

First of all,the fact that you had the insight to ask that question tells me you will know when you are ready!!! you are already starting out right. As my main man,JoshE said,Bluelight's search engine is by far the way to go-not only do you get from starting threads that are still active-you help breathe life into many of them that get lost in the shuffle-instead of being on page 1-5 the thread could be on page 20-and with killer info and real HR conversations that seemed to have floated out into the sea that is the world wide web.
Just be sure to check out the links in mine and JoshE's signatures for the 411 on how the site works-it's information that you are not able to access until you join. But you seem to be on the right track so go get your Bluelight on and let any of us know if you have problems or questions.
Stop by the NMI social thread and just chat with us. We love newcomers so jump right in,k?
