Would take too long to give my full health history , but have many conditions that involve chronic pain and discomfort, which is the main reason I'm into researching drugs at this point, more than recreational uses. Although at one point I was quite interested in recreational drugs, now there is little that is recreational for me, I am mostly in misery and my body is far more sensitive to many things--cant drink or anything

I have ME/CFS which as a condition is sort of like having a bad flu all the time. Have Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, which is exactly what it sounds like, craniocervical instability , which basically means my cervical ligaments have become lax enough to allow my skull to sink down, compressing my brainstem, and mast cell activation syndrome which basically means I have random allergy like reactions to many triggers.

So I've become somewhat invested in research into meds both for palliative care and possible cures while navigating this ...

Cheers!

Hi, Debored13.
Welcome to BL and my wishes are one researches to the point of creating a way out of this and helping others with like condition(s).
but have many conditions that involve chronic pain and discomfort
This is a tough one. Many here and everywhere else are going through this as well as many life- conditions. We all are looking for options to ease our aches/pains both mental and physical; some to do so with an aim to ease these "ailments" with the least possible and some want to take it to the point of not feeling anything at all. Both of these would describe me but I see my life more and more slipping into the least possible enough to function.
It may take a while to read up un the conditions posted so will leave off for now.
Again.., welcome to bluelight and thanks for sharing something that will help me and others without knowledge of this. May have a few Qs if OK with you whan I read through the material(s)?
Love always,
Ptah

Welcome to Bluelight:)
Feeling a part of is something that no illness can consume, and I hope you will get the feeling that you can come here and find somewhere to belong.
There are tons of different topics and such around the forums. Just find something and post away. (:

Here's an essay I wrote about pain
