Hello from Germany 8]

hey stroggs,
If you decide to do some travelling, then make sure you come down under for a visit..you'll need a couple months to really experience it.get a campervan and head along the coast.(u'll have to head about an hour inland to Nimbin) its the best way to meet real aussies and see the best we have to offer..
The weed festival is really something you have to see in person, the photos dont do the atmosphere and event justice..there no 'headshops' as such.but park your car 200 metres from the centre of town(only 2 main streets in town),and you will have 3-4 people running to offer you weed, although it is still illegal, but the two man police force in town turn a blind eye most of the time..theres a bong throwing contest, seed swap and usually lsd and shrooms also about.good vegetarian food too..
Come on down mate.

N30--is it late april this year?? Usually first few days of May..have u camped there before during festival?? It's Quite interesting!!!

nimbin here i come :D
is the festival well worth seeing? i will miss it this year, but i will stay till september 2012. so i can visit it next year.

i mean is it interesting without the festival? :>

hey mate, its still worth a visit, but its only two main streets....old hippy town from 70's..the weed is usually outdoor and alot of sativa..heroin became a problem there a few years back now,so alot of street dealers are running around to make enough for a hit...the museums good, and rainbow cafe..weed is still illegal here dont forget, just tolerated.
You'll go to byron bay im sure and its sort've on the way..drop in either way ...be weary of the feral hippies.drop into the gold coast.(1 hr south brisbane)good night life, good gas.nimbims an hour or so from gc.then byrons another hour south again.
If you go north go to airlie beach..good times there too.gold coast os sydney new years.but make sure you go off the beaten track too.all these places i mentioned are tourist meccas.
Im on the gold coast so pm me when you coming..catch up for a few beers,
