Hello everyone

yes, I heard that before. I didn't want to mix it up at that time. also I stopped drinking a year ago after decades of getting wasted nearly daily.
also it is now too late to reverse the actions and to do it over again while being drunk, even if that would have helped me maybe
I think it's anxiety alongside your prolonged use of alcohol that has resulted in a higher bpm and anxiety. I still think it;s best you consult a doctor and be honest about your drinking. I don't think shrooms are the boogeyman in your case.

Adaptogens I have to look into.

Piracetam is great for anxiety, and aniracetam even better. -> thanks for the info
nicotine is also a nootropics, right?
Tbh I don't know that I would qualify nootropics as "non-drug"

Adaptogens in my anecdotal experience don't really provide a noticeable difference. I have tried Rhodiola (does provide some stimulation but somewhat uncomfortable at first and then unnoticeable later) and Ashwaganda (no noticeable effects).

The true non drug solutions for me are
1) socializing (even as a self proclaimed introvert). Find a group of ppl who like doing things you like doing. Tabletop games, reading, running, sport, hiking, climbing, biking, AA/NA, literally anything there are groups of ppl who do them and socialize as part of that
2) resistance training / gym
3) art/music/reading/writing
4) find a partner or at least "friend with benefits"
5) sex

I'm sure it's tricky yeah

Just again pointing out to you - almost every sentence you write is drenched in anxiety - which makes me believe that anxiety could well be the problem here (Occams Razor would suggest so anyway)

All the best friend, stick around the forums let us know how things develop
Update from my primary gp

Doc told me after a short ( 1 minute ) EKG it is tachycardia
and gave me Bisoprolol; 1.25 mg 1x daily

Can this still be a mental issues or is it physical?

Is it possible that there was a issues before hand and the trip only triggered the racing heart beat in this situation?

I could need some input about this topic and the medication.

Thank you for the help and
