Hi every one realy glad that I got round to joining as I think that this forum is a great place for educational and harm reduction reasons, personally i have learnt a lot of realy useful infomation from other people's input so hope fully I can add a bit of my knowledge on to someone else maybe,, so yeah hope to chat to you all soon and maybe give me a bit of advice regarding methadone reduction I'm eager to hear other people experiences tapering down from high amounts of methadone using other opiates as that's my goal right now,,,peace and thanks Chronic

yea methadone isnt nothing to play around with... but are you saying you want to use other opiates to ween yourself of the liquid cuffs? welcome aboard....

Thanks for replying billy,, yeah your defiantly right about methadone isn't nothing to play around with,,,man I wish I knew that like 4 years ago,,,I only started out on like 60-80 ml,,but then I started to use it as a drug to get high buying more and more of it,,,iv got a easy access supply to most pharmaceuticals which is a a good and bad thing at the same time,,,to much of a good thing eh,,,anyway so this wet on until it got to 300ml a day no bull shit,,,I would drink like 100-150 at a time but not to get a nod off it but to work and keep busy as work was really hectic then,,, now I want to. Cut the methadone down I can't because of the withdrawals,,wow the Herion cold turkey is nothing compaired to methadone Turkey,,,,so yeah here I am iv got bottles of oral morph the quick release capsules and extended release tablets and different micro gram fentanyl patches,,do you think I could cut the methadone down and use the other stuff ? Any input would be great,,thanks Chris
