How's it going bluelighters?
I've been lurking this forum for several years now, as I have had an on and off problem with prescription drug abuse dating back to my early teens, and this site has been a HUGE help to me when it comes to harm reduction.
I am a 19 year old living in the United States. I enjoy biking, video games and computers in general.
I decided to go ahead and join the forum, as I'm in a stage in my life where I need to stop abusing prescription drugs in order to support myself, and while I do have a very supportive family and friends, I could always use more support. Not only that, but I would love to give back to you bluelighters, considering it's the only harm reduction resource I've had over the last 4 years!
I suffer from severe anxiety and am currently taking (not abusing) klonopin and it has really been life changing! Even though this is a temporary "fix" for my anxiety I am hoping to once and for all tackle it and move on with my life. If any of you have experienced debilitating anxiety and have any advice you'd like to share, please feel free.
Prescription opioids are my DoC I suppose, anything from codeine to oxycodone. I've dabbled in stimulants and developed a cocaine addiction a while back but due to my severe anxiety was not able to maintain it. Thankfully!
Outside of that I do have a keen interest in psychedelics, but little experience. I'm very intrigued by the concept that one is able to "destroy their ego" and plan on pursuing that in the future.
