I'm hoping this will go through, as my first one didn't and it was a few paragraphs. I'll save the moaning and pity for a later post.

Save to say... Hello Bluelighters, I am a 40 something opioid tolerant person in severe chronic pain. I am finally registering so that maybe I can contribute some of my experiences rather than just lurking.

So Hello.. again.. Hola.. Aloha... Ni Hao... Jambo... Ello-hay

Nice to meet you! I am a late twenty something with moderate back pain issues but I am keeping my hydrocodone dose to 30mg's a day at the moment. I'm sure you will get along great with the people on Bluelight as so many of us are reliant on opiates.

Welcome to Bluelight!! :)

hey there...WELCOME!!!glad to have you. i am in my mid 30s so I am STOKED to have you. EVERYONE here is great, but sometimes I feel the generation gap a bit more than usual and I often wonder if others my age feel the same. I guess we'll see,eh?
so I see you haven't made many posts...what kinds of information are you looking for? are you interested in learning more about opiates, looking to talk to others in a similar situation?what sorts of things are you looking to contribute??
Let me know so I can help steer you in the right direction and get you started posting-hardcore ;)
reply to me here-i am not a Mod so you cannot PM me,but if you reply here,we can talk freely.
Once again, welcome to Bluelight. Hope to see you around!

Much Peace and Love..........skillz<3

Welcome to Bluelight :)

You'll find that a lot of us have experienced some of the same shit and we range from all ages. I'm only 23 and I've been experienced in the dope game for many years. I know how shit runs down in my neck of the woods.

Glad to see you made an account and can share with us your experience

:D

Thanks for rolling out the welcome mat.

I've come here as a last resort to deal with my pain. My old pain Doc was good for getting me hooked on morphine, only to reach a plateau in his generosity. I had to go off the reservation and find a new dr. I thought I was doing great getting Fentanyl 125 & OPana 20 ER's.

See my RANT
With my medical history and Crohn's resulting in 6' of my intestine being taken out, I have a hard time getting the relief I need with oral meds. This new dr severely underestimated my tolerance and I went through some hellish WD even with him upping me to Fentanyl 150 and OP20.

So now I am here. I don"t have a lot to offer with street drugs, but have taken my share of Vics, soma, morphine, dillies, xanax, etc...

I hope I can do something besides P*ss and moan. Maybe get my medicine to work better by potentiating it or different ROA or even get some insight as to what is available on the 'fringe'.

Maybe I can give something back. Dunno.

Of course IV demerol is the cats meow when I was hospitalized, except for the nausea. As far as management in the real world, chewing about 250mg of morphine helps for a few hours but doesn't last.

The Fentanyl patches along with the morphine for BT was OK. Maybe with this new doc I can get enough Fentanyl to function. Anything that I don't have to take orally is a plus. I even considered a pain pump, but my INS wouldn't cover it.

I like the feel of the snorted opana's, but hate the headaches the next morning.

I guess every drug has its benefits and detriments.

Painkillers were, and continue to be, the worst relationship I've ever experienced in my life.

I did forget to mention opium. 20 years ago, I used to smoke a bb sized ball on a pin head under a glass all the time and really liked the mellowness of it. It wasn't harsh like MJ and didn't make you eat everything in the house. Of course fast forward to recent present when I was on morphine, I was basically doing legal opium. How ironic. I also did coke back then but didn't like it after my first try so I've never did it again.

I am sorry to hear you have severe chronic pain :(

I have been going through excruciating pain myself the beginning of this year, and it's now only mild/moderate at the worst, sometimes I barely notice it.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
