Hello, people! How are you doing! I'm new, I'm from Mexico. My name is James. I posted a couple of threads already. What can I say? I noticed this community a long long time ago, but I wan't able to join until now (something happened with the confirmation email every time I tried).

Now, I've finally created this account. Iw wanted to comment on some problem I've been having with E. (posted in ectstasy discussion).

I like philosophy, grapchi design and the visual arts (I'm a very very shitty graphic designer), literature, the underground life of cities, and finding uses to what I've learnt.

I live in Mexico and would like to know people from around this country! I'm 26 by the way.
 
I do not live there but do go often enough (La Asencion a.k.a. "La Chona" in the Sierras, 8 hours over dry roads from Monterrey, N. Leon), to visit my daughter. Used to like the country better but then I used to like most things better, comes with getting old.

Well james, I've just joined here too and have been aware of the pillreports site and this one for a good while now. I am from Mexico City but have been living in Manchester and London most of my life I'm 38.I lived my teenage years in Manchester during the begining of the Rave scene which was fantastic so am well into E and all sorts of things. I like the coke in Mexico too though!!there ara pros and cons to living in every place I say!!
Anyway where abouts in Mexico do you live?I'm trying to get to know how this site works so will now do a bit of surfing around the site.take it easy!!!
I might be able to catch up with you in Mexico in the summer!! I have lots of friends who organize raves and dance parties in mexico city so could be fun!!!
 
I'm from just North of Mexico (the border is 20 min away) so I don't count. Welcome to BL. By the way, by the way, are the police more tolerant of simple possession now the that Mexican government has decriminalized possession of small quantities of drugs- or is it the same. What part of Mexico are you from, anyway? Caroline55 welcome too. There are a million questions I could ask you- from a historical standpoint. I'm the same age as you so I know you were living at ground zero during the beginning of the rave scene. Unfortunately, I didn't go to my first rave until 1991- they caught on later here. The scene went to shit fast, though, from an underground standpoint. My 1st rave was called Timbuktu- @ Brown field in an air hanger, probably a mile or 2 from the mexican border, on a foggy night. The experience was lifechanging, the E amazing, but unfortunately, that drug seems to lose its magic eventaually ( this was way before the piperazine era.)
 
Nice one jspun. From my experiance in Mexico City over the last 15 or so years is that most pills are MDxx and are expensive, they alway have been!! But if the pill is good it will not loose its magic I think!!
It's still difficult to get MDxx pills anyway and I was lucky enough to not have got pipz at all. Maybe being close to the US that might be different, a lot more amphetamins and other stuff. The thing that spoilt the rave scene for me is that it became too commercial so I hardley go to raves any more just private parties.
One wonderful thing about Mexico is its mescalin and mushroom tradition, so you can still have a rave in your head while out in the desert or beach!!(MDxx is always there too)

Regarding the police, I think in Mexico no matter what you get cought with you can get away with it with a bribe to suit the quantity, I've had to do that several times. I still shit my pants.
I think with weed you have no problem, with pills the same. but the problem is coke, I guess thats the same all round the world!

My dad and his side of the family are from mexico. I lived there for 2 years myself to learn spanish, and take a trip every summer back to Tampico (where i lived) for at least a month and stay with friends. Nobody thinks this white boy speaks spanish then they're liek wtfff. haha well welcome to bluelight!!!
And shits not expensive if you know the right people!! I went to school with people who are now overseeing some decent drug activity so lets just say i've got connections down there...
i should get a sheet of lsd mailed down soon, keep putting it off...

Caroline and jspun, you have a very interesting vibe. You seem like very interesting people. I live in Pachuca, about two hours from Mexico city. Every now and then I go visit Mexico city. I love that city is so damn rich culturally speaking. I actually look forward to chatting a little more with you and yes, meeting someday, I think it would be great.

About the police being more tolerant, I don't think so. But I'm not really sure, I've been away from the underground for some time but the people in the scene, when I've seen them they don't seem more --or less-- relexed about hiding their stuff from strangers or the police.

The pills and stuff, these days, actually, are of quite a decent quality, in my opinion. And I don't find them expensive! In fact in Mexico they are cheaper than in my area!

James I'll be going to Mexico in the summer so will have to catch up with you then. I have a few friends in Pachuca!!!real tripheads!!!everytime I go there my friends orgonize some cool parties with lots of everything which is cool!!!
Dr.Pepper I'm glad theres still people into acid, Here in London its all weed, pills and coke nowadays!!I use to do a lot of acid a while back and I can say it moulded who I am today!!!
Just a sugestion for your trips is listen to Hawkwind!!!
