Heat scan helecopters?

Probably the same tricks they always do. Stakeouts, maybe not for ten plants but somthing bigger. Um or maybe just rip them out of the ground. Plus I dont think they need a warrent to enter a public forest

Oh yeah I have heard some stories of them using those cameras hunter put on trees to see deer coming into bait piles so that might also be an option
 
Im wondering how prevalent these copters are. I live in a pretty affluent community and my are is mostly white (im just saying the cops ARE prejiduce). Also when it comes to drugs here the cops have proved themselves to be reallly slow, dumb, and they seem to not just give a shit. One dope dealer basically only sold to very young kids and showed them how to shoot. Amny of my friends have had thier lives influenced in a BAD Way by this lady. people turned her name number and house intot he police MANY times and only after several kids OD did they even try and look into her.
 
well even so its better to be safe then sorry. I thought the cops were dumb a few times and ended up in jail. So they may act like Barney Fife but those fucking fags turn out to be Serpico.....watch your ass......your from Carolina use them ole moonshiner tricks yer pappy taught ya

As I said earlier, my ... er... fuck it, dealer, grew outside. He was lucky/smart enough to grow 1 foot off his property into the small woodland area behind his house (very small). The cops couldn't prove it was his, but he NEVER went back to the plants fearing they were under servallence.

EDIT: To put this in perspective... He lived in New Hampshire, in a buttfuck town in the middle of buttfuck nowhere. I'm sure it is more common in other places, or perhaps it was simply bad luck.

^ well mine are miles from my house and a few people with police records live closer lol. Also since its a public place its hard to link it to people. What i try and do is bring binoculars or a fishing rod for a possilbe alibi.
 
I heard that you can funnel the air through a carbon filter and then feed it into your attic (I assume most houses have attics) and it dissipates the heat and takes care of the smell.
 
First, FLIR scans of residential buildings without a warrant were declared unconstitutional - here is the caselaw. FLIR itself isn't, scanning for a fugitive on foot or other uses that don't target residences is fine.

Second, as far as the conspiracy theorists it's easy to otherwise disprove. Generalized helicopter FLIR scans of residential areas is both far too costly and easy to find out about to make any sense to use considering it's inadmissible and can endanger prosecutions where other evidence meant they would have been caught either way.

Some isolated abuses do occur with individual departments or cops with a handheld infrared camera, but because this is on the ground it's always been a case of a cop knowing what house they were already going to. And really you should be happy if that happens as if it's ever revealed it'll instantly ruin their case or even overturn your conviction.

As for the outdoor, I've heard the rumor but IF this is possible it's about a new tech and definitely isn't in use. Just look at CAMP flights in northern california - super obvious to everyone due to the months of many flights and yet they all fly 100% during the day when FLIR is useless.

Don't worry about heat - even people pushing 5-10k or more don't really attempt to disguise it.

hell yea its true they also look at ur electrisity usage no they dont need a warrent because they wont use it against u in court, they just use conventional means to get u like , "well we ran some #s and found secret money laudering sceam, or he was stealing electrisity,
 
Unless your running a few 1000watt HPS lights with poor extraction the flying pigs won't see anything suspect, also grow tents help out in terms of heat been less noticeable, so that with good extraction means your good to go. If you want to be 100% safe use no more than a 600 watt HPS I'm 100% that won't show as suspicious.
 
Yeah they use them, but like the above poster said, you need a good amount of heat. A small grow won't stand out too much. Also where in the house makes a difference. If it's in the basement it'll be much less visible to them.
 
I remember back in highschool a police office telling the class this story about someone getting busted from this... but that police officer liked to tell stories so i dunno ; D

i personally believe they do in certain places for sure
