I have never loved anything that I lost
I have never lost anything that I loved
A simple look that made me smile created a lifetime of joy. And in a simple moment a lifetime was taken away.
Sitting heartbroke for what I have lost and remember all I have gained still does not out weight the pain.
For I fear that this heart will mend, but unfortuantely never love again.
 
I love you. And you can't lose that, no matter how hard you try sweetie.
Good to see you writing, I hope this isn't a one-time thing!

i know that feeling, all too well. it happened to me to, and i dealt with it terribly.
the heart is a fragile thing. i found you cant control it, no matter what. i dont know why bad things happen to good people, Tink, but i know that God has a way of compensating you when you least expect it.

as E-girl said .. the heart is very fragile.
It will take time to mend the broken heart, but you will get through it .. YOU WILL. Life is so unpredictable and most of the time we learn the most about ourselves in those rough times. I don't know the specific situation, so i don't pretend to understand what you are feeling but you do have friends here who love unconditionally and just remember that ;) So forgive the cliche but Charlotte's Web is a clasic "Chin up chin up everybody loves a happy face"
try and smile if not for yourself, for me :)

After our talk, i read this, and it made me cry.
thank you more then anyone else for letting me know how much i am blessed right now.

i have this peanuts comic that i saved a few years ago. it is of one character (i forget his name) on the phone and the word bubble thingy says "I gues I've learned something Marcie, a broken heart stays with you forever..."
At one point in time I thought it was true, and more often than I like it still feels true. But as time goes on, it will make you a stronger person if you learn from your past. No one likes having a breaking heart, but you can learn a lot about yourself and the strength you possess (yes, it is there, whether you know it or not!) by going through hard times.
