What is the normal resting heart rate, and what is considered dangerous? At what point in beats per mins do you enter the danger zone, and you might just die to cardaic arrest, or something similar? Whats the highest your heart rate can go?

Whenever I'm on stimulants and binge on it, I experience heart pain, along with shortness of breath, head aches, and pain to the sides. What are some long term effects of doing these binges? exactly how bad is it for your heart when on high doses of uppers?

I usually do high dose amphetamine, and go on binges, one night I went through 150mgs of adderall IR, another time I binged though 230mgs of adderall in two nights. I experienced the conditions listed above.

Another time I took 38mgs of MDPV in a single dose, when I didn't sleep form the previous night as I did adderall, the next day my heart rate was at 156 beats per minute, somewhere between 150-160 b/m, and I experienced the conditions listed above? I'd like to know what point will your heart just give up, as I don't want to be finding out myself.

If you go to a hospital, they will intervene once you surpass 180 bpm. Normal resting pulse is 55-75 bpm.

I would, if you can, slow down. You are showing obvious signs of toxicity in these binges. Also, I don't know where these pains in your sides are located, but it could be issues with your kidneys in addition to cardio-strain and muscle-tension.

ebola

I'm with ebola. Restrain yourself if you are feeling these.

Side pains can be, like ebola said, kidney pain. It can also be caused from gas caused by stimulants, which definitely mess with your digestion (chest pain can also occur because of this). I was with a person who we had to bring to the hospital after a stimulant binge, she was palpitating and thought she was going to have a heart attack, but was relieved after she passed major gas (very major).

It is also my observation that some people are more able to deal with stims due to their constitution. Those who have nervous problems (anxiety, sleeping disorders, tics) are much more susceptible to complications and discomfort from stimulants.

You are giving yourself the answers above!
Exactly when will you reduce? You want to find out, but what difference does it
make, when you already know that you ate taking far too much and in a combo resulting in the mentioned symptoms?
If you don't reduce and be more self care/responsible, your last paragraph
might come to fruition some day-when your body is giving you the signs and though you are aware you continue in the same way!
Sorry to be blunt, when you endanger yourself so much!

@ Dtergent

I foolishly took a silly amount of Camfetamine while I was still up. Because of my poor lack of judgement I found myself not being about to sleep for 36 hours, and I couldn't go to the toilet for 4 days. I am not experiencing some awkward pains in my chest, do you think this is related to these gases? Or is my heart going to explode?

It's been 5 days since I took it.

Pains in your chest can be numerous things, some more serious than others. A serious example would be a heart attack, which is dependent on severity and how quick it is treated as to the outcome. An inflamed pericardium would be a serious if not treated problem. Not so serious would be your chest muscles being tight from what your body has gone through.

Normally chest pains are not related to gas, unless you mean like below (caudal) your ribs which is no longer chest. The localization of the pain is important, many times if the heart is having problems you will get pain in the left side of the chest, with radiating pain into the left shoulder/upper arm. Also a feeling of pressure pushing on your rib cage is usually not a good sign. I would personally go to the doctor if I were in your situation.

Maybe try to treat yourself a little bit better.

120/70 is the normal resting heart rate for a young man (21 years). It varies once you get older.

160 beats per minute is something to be concerned about, worried, no.

Lay off the high doses of amphetamines. If you want to get a buzz from racemic mixture of amphetamine (Adderal), it only takes 30-50 mg, not 150 mg, shit, that's about 2 doses. It's also probably, the high dose of levo-amphetamine that's causing your headaches.

Long term effects of amphetamine: Google search.

Probably either l-amphetamine or panic disorder associated with high dose stimulant abuse.

Hope that this helps.

150-160 BPM?!

That's twice normal speed. I tend to think about life span this way: say you have an average number of heartbeats in a life. If you consistently do drugs that bring your heartbeat to twice normal speed, you're slashing your own typical life span. If your heart rate is usually at this pace, you'd be (mathematically speaking) cutting your life span in HALF.

Something to be worried about? I think so.

Lol, you all realize the post from Eazy-E is the only current post right? But yea, normally 160 bpm is definitely something to be worried about if it lasts any significant length of time when you are not doing sports. I don't have much experience with amphetamines, and I would expect a raised heart rate, but 160 bpm is rrreally fast, especially if you are untrained.
