Health Benefits of Tea

I use many teas for many different reasons, but my favourite all-around tea is long jin green tea. The flavour is just so robust, and the kind I get has roasted rice in it so it has that smokey smell.

Health benefits... well, AFAIK it's the same as any green tea, but long jin is a top quality one from Fujian province in China.

Earl Gary, Hot.

Its primary benefit is bringing my spirit closer to the one called Picard.

Green tea.

Lots and lots of benefits. From antioxidants, to detoxing, assists weight loss, re-hydration and so on.

Chamomile with Stevia, a super alkaline tea with good health benefits, calms the nerves a bit too.

Green tea with stevia, although going off tea because of the caffeine content ( i seem to be very sensitive to caffeine atm) so thats a no no, i prefer decaff

Another one to try , that you may or may not like is Green tea with Jasmine. its got a kinda refreshing taste to it.

Just tried marshmallow leaf tea for the first time. It's really nice tasting even on its own, but a spoon of honey added and it tastes delicious, I have a feeling I'm going to be drinking this stuff all the time now :)

I'm drinking it to soothe my lungs, but here's a list of some things it's useful for: http://www.teabenefits.com/herbal-tea-benefits/marshmallow-tea-benefits.html

Very nice, I'd recommend giving it a try. I was expecting it to not taste very nice given that I've been smoking it as filler in the past and the actual smoke tastes okay but it's not something I'd smoke for the taste - the tea on the other hand, lovely! :)

Red tea with dried blood orange. Just pleasantly tart in taste. Comes out a nice rich sunset color, and despite having no caffeine always manages to put me in a really pleasant state of mind. Not sure if that counts as a health benefit, but it qualifies in my book.

I like the 'Yogi' brand of teas. I also buy a box of generic green tea sometimes. But i recently bought the yogi rest & relax sampler, the skin detox and a liver/kidney detox teas. They are all so delicious. But i like mixing them with a vanilla or rasberry tea. and sometimes some honey and half&half.

i am sippin on some sleepytime tea right now...
i dont know if it has any "real" benefits but it sure is tasty and its certainly not bad for me!

I try to get all my caffeeine from tea, because it just feels a lot smoother (and healthier? not sure about that). Coffee etc only when i need a quick hit of stimulation and don't have the time to drink a few cups of tea.

As an every-day-tea i use organically grown whole leaf darjeeling.

My "special" black tea (because it's too expensive) is Lapsang Souchong (hope i spelled it right). Love that smoky flavour.

And in between various green teas. At the moment whole leaf "Japan Bancha" and "China Lung Ching".

I've been sipping Yogi's Kava Stress Relief recently, but otherwise I'll go for green, Earl Grey or chamomile. I don't really have a favorite brand, but try to avoid more popular brands as those teas tend to be rather bland or tasteless. I made the mistake of buying a 32-pack of Lipton's green tea once just because it was all they had at the drug store I stopped at. I think I had maybe two cups and the rest just sat on the shelf for months...tasted like pennies mixed with warm water.
