The night was cold when you burst in
shattering glass thru my window within
Sword in hand, with me- the foe;
to take my life was your main goal
We fought, and injured till dawn's first lightbleeding in silence,

Then weakened and shredded, cast your weapon aside,
and asked me to heal your wounds, without pride

asked a greater healing rain to fall upon us that night
The dark rain that fell down onto us was soft
