hey guys....
what specifically causes the instant headrush amplification of my heroin high after smoking a cigarette.
chased the dragon and then smoked one cigarette.... instantly dizzy and twice as high as i already was.
what is the explanation for this?
please no speculation etc.
thank you.

first of all smoking or chasing the heroin on foil is not stupid, but merely ignorant and naive. vaporization BA is like 20-30%? on the other hand, nasal heroin has a BA of 50-60%, plugging around 70-80% i think, and IV 100%

there is already a similar post like this in BDD... but to answer your question nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, constricting blood vessels and thus narrowing arteries. in addition, nicotine malevolently affects the hearth inducing a fast heart rate; as a result, bodily functions like your metabolism and how quickly your blood travels through your brain. also, smoking tobacco allows the nicotine to quickly (20-30 SECONDS) cross through the BBB into the CNS. finally, nicotine and the harmala alkaloids increase various NTs (sert, NE, dopa, ach, beta-endorphin, histamine, ect...) as discussed in the BDD thread about opiates and ciggs.

With all of what has been said above, and the fact that this is the second or third thread on the same subject in quick succession:
