He Created an Artist
Somehow, somewhere, someone is looking out for me.
The world I once knew had no color.
Everything was as dark as night.
No stars, no moon
Just darkness.
He created an artist.
One little dot I am in his painting,
One little dot that cannot be erased.
Without me, the masterpiece is not complete.
The world I see is His canvas.
The colors change every day, for no two days are exactly alike.
The people I know are part of His masterpiece.
Every individual having an impact on my life.
He created a director.
The life I live is His script,
Not knowing my lines, just learning and accepting my role
To share it with every human that I interact with day after day.
He created a musician
The music I hear every day is His symphony
Every beat fills my heart
Gives me life
Gives me hope.
With the sands of time, the colors will fade.
The people will fade away,
The music will tune itself out.
The masterpiece will disassemble,
only to be rememebered by the next generation who once lived in darkness
only to wake up and see
The artist and the world he painted.
*Some times true beauty is overlooked, take one minute of your life and look at what your personal artist has painted for you.
