having trouble posting the picture for my profile

Go to your profile and on the top right corner in your basic information and edit it then scroll down to the picture edit pencil. You then find a gif image, you would like as a profile picture, and insert the link. What kind of picture are you trying to insert?

Hey, I am probably just doing this completely wrong... but, how do I post the picture to show up on my posts? I tried to post the image with a link on my profile where it says picture and that just did not work at all. Thank you
Hiya - once you reach 50 posts you can have a picture on your profile - however, you can have an avatar. Go to Forum Actions then edit profile n if you look on the left side n find 'edit avatar.' Hope that works.

Oh I assumed that Southeast was talking about the avatar. Lol! Going to fill up my coffee now.
I dont think I totally understnad... hit edit next to where it says picture? THat pencil image? This is what I have been putting -- http://images.ctv.ca/archives/CTVNews/img2/20071029/300_candyman.jpg so it needs to be gif where it says jpg? I am fine with just the avatar I just am having trouble-- once I find a gif image what kind of format should i be posting it in? can you give me an example? do i just put the url?
