Have you ever traveled down a path to find there was no end?
For every corner there was a bend?
The faster you walked, the longer it seemed.
And you were all alone in this crazy dream...
Crazy dreams you dream alone when the lights go out and no one is home.
You see the day for what it has been and you wish to God you could stay clean...
The morning brings you to the road you did not want to travel, and ever step you take again makes your life unravel.
You keep walking down the path, wondering what you will find
and pray that when you find it you wont have lost your mind...
It is halfway through another day and you are looking for thsoe dreams knowing they can make your life better than what it seems.
If only to forget your pain for a little while you can travel down the road just another mile...
The night is upon you now, and the miles are on your face.
But you keep going forward to your final place.
You know the end is coming soon, and you see it straight ahead..
And if you dont forget about those dreams,
you will end up dead..

there is so much of this i could quote. but it strikes so many personal chords with me right now. i always feel like i am living up to impossible standards and setting myself up for more falls than i can take. i always wonder where the journey will end and if i have achieved everything i want to...

then i remember i take each day as it comes and everything will be fine

(even if only for a lil while)...
