Harm Reduction Have you ever stopped drugs/medicines in a hospital/drug rehab/prison/etc.?

I recently stopped 8 drugs in a mental health unit (3 antipsychotics, a mood stabilizer, tramadol, a benzo, and an anticholinergic). They took me off of Halcion too but I restarted that.
 
Why not make poll questions?

Fortuntley only once in a jail cell .It was only 24 hours. So not too bad. I actually stood in there 3 days but I had a suboxone on me I didn't realize! ONe guard knew I had em (he walked in on me taking it) and was about to take it but I told hi mthe truth and begged pretty much. He let me keep it. But he said "if I see this in anyone else's hand or mouth than yours...ima fuck you up forl ieing to me". So I didn't test him haha.

In the psych unit I was actually the highest I was in my life! Ya see like alot of addicts I sy I need WAY more suboxone than I do. Same with xanax. So they have to GIVE you whats on paper and WATCH to make sure your taking it. So I was taking 32mg of suboxone and 8mg of xanax a day when I was taking 2mg and 3mg of them before I went in. Plus with all the other shit they gave me I felt...ridiculous.
 
Yes, it a jail for two days.

Yes, in a rehab facility for 30 days of my own volition.

Neither, however, permanently helped my opiate addiction. The pull was just too strong...
 
Yeah, I've had to kick in all of those places besides psych unit. Mostly in prison or a detox unit at a hospital.. I think one of my shittiest kicks happened at Rikers a few years back. Kicking in jail is always worse than a hospital because they don't really give you shit.. or it's at least up the discretion of the ass hole bulls.
 
Started to w/d in the hospital after my OD. Happened on Friday at noon, I didnt get released until Sunday evening. By Sunday morning I was feeling like absolute crap, and told the staff shit was gonna get REAL ugly if I didnt get something. They gave me... 10mg of methadone. Unreal. I was on the phone scoring more dope from the hospital bed Sunday afternoon. That was the most expensive 10mg of methadone I ever got, I wanna say I got charged like $28 for it.. small compared to the 14k bill, but still. The paramedics were a hell of a lot cooler than anyone at the hospital. They gave me enough narcan to revive me, not a huge ass amount to send me into instant w/d. Never detoxed at a prison, psych ward or treatment facility (never been to any of those 3 either).
