do not for one second think that drugs made you smarter or more enlightened. you will alienate people. you may have learned a few things about drugs, but the drugs did nothing for your intellect.
after month 3 of sobriety, you should feel fine.
Psychedelics have been used for therapy, addiction, creativity, self-exploration/introspection and spirituality and probably a myriad other beneficial uses I can't think of off the top of my head. To say
psychedelics do nothing for your intellect is subjective and IMO a possible sign of weak intellect.
Drugs on the other hand is too broad a word to say that across the board
drugs do nothing for your intellect. Some drugs help brain cognition, some deteriorate brain cognition.
I started using LSD, first recreationally and then in a somewhat spiritual context at a young age, while still in high school. I may have been somewhat alienated from a few people but my true friends were generally interested in the insight and perspective gained from my LSD use. Slowly my friends came around, I got along with most of my school al though most had an idea that I used acid. My friends accepted my use, most people tolerated me completely, and though I never pressured anyone, some actually became intrigued by the beneficial aspects of LSD and I was able to share my insights and experiences with them and gain new perspectives from their own subjective experiences. If you are mature enough to handle psychedelics they can be of therapeutic value, but I would not suggest taking LSD at a young age. I was rather mature in high school, but I would still caution its use in anyone regardless of age that is not mentally prepared to experience and integrate a novel part of the universe exposed to them. Be careful, but stay true to yourself. You may be more "normal" than your friends.
Agreed with feelgoodhit. 200 doses of "e" that nobody knows what is exactly in them these days is probably worse than an occasional psychedelic trip. Don't overdo it, and if it's affecting your life negatively then stop. Maybe you can share some of the thoughts that make you feel like you're on a different level and "know" more. I don't understand how "know"ing more or having more knowledge can be considered messing your brain. You sound more worried about what people think about you rather than whether you've actually messed up your brain from psychedelics.
You should contemplate and share:
- why you feel like you think differently than most people
- how you believe the psychedelics changed you
- why you feel you know more than normal people
- why you feel you're on an other level
Unless you're newfound knowledge makes no sense, you will be mentally stronger, so just take it easy, you're probably fine. You've stopped for a month and a half so you should not have any serious side effects. I'd worry about that amount of "e" pills and I wouldn't take psychedelics more than twice a month personally.
Everything in moderation... (especially moderation!)
