have been very scared of psychedelics since a bad trip?

His bad experience was a result from not being ready for an ego death experience (hell, I'm not even aiming for that yet and certainly not at a festival) and that's a problem you can give a lot of thoughts to. He's afraid his friend thinks he's gay now, though maybe he really is? There are a lot of nuances he knows about his trip that we do not, there's bound to be some thoughts he had during the comedown. Giving it time and thought will just make things easier

i completely agree with your sir. when your feeling weary straight when you trip again it could raise its head again. then in a other hand 7 trips in one go!! one trip should be enough!! if not dont bother. dont mess with your mind! as can buy a other!!

Well time and thought are different from what I imagine to be integration? I mean, don't you have to have had some sort of realization of sorts in order to integrate anything? Obviously there are a lot of nuances.. but it almost sounds like he has to figure out what issues there were that led to the problem, things that may not be consciously apparent.

The realization is something you have during the trip, but integrating it is something different all together. Having some trouble finding the right wording here (non-native speaker and I always have trouble putting mental processes down in language), but basically you apply the trip to your life in some way. An experience like this can be very scarring, could another trip fix your anxiety? Possibly, but you do return to that headspace and that can go the wrong way. That's why I vote for giving it time and integrating whatever he felt

Giving yourself plenty of sober time to evaluate the experience is definitely good advice, and in certain cases it is better than using another psychedelic. However I know personally that taking a year-long break from psychedelics after a frightening experience did not benefit me. It wasn't until I reembarked on a psilocybe trip that I was able to piece things together and return to that state of mind that confirms 'everything will be alright, always', and from there I was able to move on.
I am not arguing against abstaining from psychedelics, and can certainly acknowledge that integration debt will occur with overuse of psychedelics. These compounds are tools, and the knowledgeable intended use of these tools is what contributes to their outcomes.

very simple answer: dont trip again until you feel like you can handle it!

psychedelics are easy to use is you use common sense. if you are feeling uneasy about taking them--dont do it, 90% it wont turn out well. even if it doesnt go terribly, you will most likely still feel very weird the whole time. wait until you wake up and think "man! i would LOVE to trip today!".

it seems like your trip went south because you are still somewhat inexperienced and you took a massive dose (btw i heard a lot of those spongebob blotters were 25i). you didnt have a bad time because of latent schizophrenia, control issues, etc. you can trip again. just wait until your brain/ego can handle a potential ass-whooping if it comes down to it.

oh yeah, maybe try less than seven next time.
