Hash question.

Hey sorry bout new thread but i didnt found the old one about the hash so im writin a new one.

Today o took some ditch weed like about 3 ounces.I did the qwiso hash.When i frozen the buds thricomes i saw was really nice.Buds was like soaked in trichomes.Anyway after i did qwiso now i left it to evaporate and water is really dark green and i see lots of some short of dust in my water settled around and at the bottom of the plate.is it kief or something else??? dust is kinda black/brown and stuff.

from what i have read you have a dish full of water with dust in it, that might be keif.

why did you freeze your ditch weed?

im lithuanian.Yes i have full dish of dark green rubbing alchocol and with lots of dust/sand or whatever in it.i cleaned the dish before the frocedure and everything else.
Qwiso tutorial says that you need to freeze your weed for 30 mins.anyway i need to find out what stuff is it??? is it kief or is is something else???
 
perhaps you over soaked the starting product.

alcohol is an efficient solvent, and the longer you soak the plant material, more chlrophyll, wax and plant material will dissolve and end up in your finished product.
 
well i leaved it for 30 secs to soak and i shaked really hard for 30 secs then i poured it onto plates.Shit if that stuff will get me high and i will yeld a smoke for all week im happy.
 
oh, all right. yeah that coudy stuff on the bottom of the plates is THC/wax/chlorophyll.

but if you only dissolved for 1 minute then its mostly THC :)

allcohol takes a long time to evaporate though.
 
Oh then its cool!!! yeah its cloudy stuff on the bottom and yeah i feel that it will evaporate in only like two weeks n stuff becuz It was so much of alchocol that it didnt fit on a plate so i used a bowl and the leftover alchocol i poured at the plate.Anyway im willing to wait.it started to snow here so i guess i need to take the leftover ditch weed tommorow and make some kief thru a kief grinder.Make as much as possible from those plants.
 
if you have any solid particles in your evap dish then i would recommend you filter them out and attempt to redissolve in clean solvent. any remaining material not soluble in the second wash should be discarded.

1 min is probably to long. 30 sec max, I'd say. Any green you see is because you soaked to long.
 
ok so the plate i was talkin bout where i there wasnt really much kief it ended up amazingly good.Still not properly evaporated yet but i scraped a bit and its all black or at least very very very dark green.Anyway the bowl is still with full of solvent but theres so much of that kief that i cant wait :D its like bout 10 gs.anyway i will be lucky as hell to hape some hash that gets me high.
