I haven't smoked for a good few years but am having a lot of issues with anxiety and my mental health at the moment and am thinking about smoking again. Just wanted peoples opinions on what would be a better option to smoke to chill me out a bit but without really monging me out into a zomby like state. From when I used to smoke im sure I remember cannabis resin/hash being quite relaxing but more of a clean buzz, what I be correct in thinking that? Im looking for something that will calm my mind down a little but also help me think without all this fog and anxiety getting in the way. Hash or skunk people?

By "skunk" do you an flower/bud?
In my opinion, the reason hash/wax/oil feels cleaner is because when you burn flower you are getting a bunch of other carcinogens and other nasties alongside your THC. Hash has already been processed to remove most of the non canibiniod material so there is less substance combustion. Further more, extracts are often used in rigs designed to vaporize/boil the hash rather than burn it.

Friend, I think your question isn't about whether or not hash or flower is better but rather "smoke" or "vape"

Which brings me to point 2
Vaporizer users (including myself) report a much more clear headed and uplifting high when using a vaporizer for dried herb. Getting a unit with temperature control also makes a big difference since you can control the range of heat extraction for a higher or lower THC/CBD ratio.

Even the leftover "duff" can be used. I encourage you to look into vaporizing if enjoying marijuana without the foggy/groggy feeling

Thanks man that really helps. I will definitely look into vaporizing. Any recommendations on a cheap vaporizer that would do the job?

Well I don't have a wide range of vaporizer experience . My first and only vape was the Arizer Xtreme Q. It wasn't super expensive and has EASILY paid for itself by saving bud and enhancing the feeling of the high.
Also as a bonus; vaporizer tastes amazing compared to smoke and you can hold it in longer to get higher (safely, without damaging your lungs like smoke does.)

Also I would just like to add that I have come to the conclusion that there is a stigma behind paying a couple hundred for a good vape but somehow multi hundred doller bong collections seem to be easy to come by.

Trust me. Worth it
