which do you prefer hash/resin or bud/weed?

I prefer hash, preferably paki or afghan or nepalese, it gives you such a mellow chilled out high, with not even a hint of paranoia IME...

I'd prefer hash probably because its so rare in my area....I've only been able to score bubble hash once and hand hash (hash made from rubbing plants then rubbing hands together) once.I've had hash oil a fair bit only because I've made it myself and enjoyed that very much!I have however experienced paranoia on hash oil but that was at a very bad stage in my life when i had full on social anxiety........Also it depends on the situation say if i was out at a party in a very social environment i would prefer hash.But if im just chilling at home by myself late at night I'd prefer some heavy couch glue indicia buds........LOL sorry for the confusing statement not really with it at the moment.Playin with my new vape :D

^After last week i can second that. My guy got a ton of earwax as he called it. It was crumbly and kinda of in little marble sized balls, interesting thing about the texture is that it almost looks like honeycomb, there are little airbubbles throughout it, dry and crumbly but if you pressed it with your fingers it would get sticky...anyways...My boy has a pipe with an oil attachment and a brulee torch and he set me up a hit of the earwax, first time smoking it and i gotta say, ive had all sorts of hash and hash oil before, buds too, and that stuff made my lungs feel like i had an army of pickaxes busting through my chest. I was hiiiiiigh as a kite. Bought 2 grams on the spot. I smoked just that for like the past 2 weeks and the high is just great, i love it. regular heady weed doesnt do it like the earwax, even when smoking a bunch, Like one hit of the wax was enough to keep me high for 6 hours, lasted forever. The only thing that sucked is i dont have a proper smoking piece for oil so i made a little foil thing and put it in the hitter on my hvy. worked really well and would get huge hits, but it makes me wonder if i am getting all of it.

After the earwax id say some good stoney couchlock indica, id really like to try some kind of indica earwax concentrate, ive yet to find the cannabis product that really knocks me out and puts my migraines to sleep, thats what will top my list. But for now, the earwax is my fav thing ive smoked along with some blonde hash a few years ago which was reallly nice. I love weed. haha.

In the Netherlands I constantly have access to a huge variety of different types of bud and hash, and although I recognize the superiority of certain hashes in certain areas and the fact that, by %THC, the top hashes blow any bud out of the water, I only buy hash about 5-10% of the time.

I find that all in all, bud seems to have a wider array of effects, whereas hash for me seems to work on decidedly less areas - that is to say, the effects of hash are not as diverse or multi-layered, and they "tickle fewer spots", so to speak. This may have something to do with the diminished variety of different cannabinoids due to the production and storage process, I don't know. Regardless, I will usually taste a hash by itself after buying it, but after that 95% of the hash will be smoked as an addition to bowls or joints with bud. I much prefer smoking hash as a supplement to bud, when possible, to smoking it on its own.

I'm not a huge fan of light hashes or sieved hashes; dark, hand-rubbed hashes with the strong, dopey, stoney effect are my ticket. And all kinds of isolators, bubble hashes etc are always nice, of course.
