So lately i have been using acetone as a solvent to produce hash. The acetone evaperates cleanly leaving no chemical residue behind and no solvent smell. What i want to try and do is to basically "lace" for lack of a better word cigars with the hash. When i say lace i just mean adding the hash to the cigar i DO NOT mean trying to pass something off as something it is not or have someone un-knowingly ingest a substance. So my procedure is to soak the desired amount of cannabis in the acetone to have the cannibinoids dissolve in the acetone. Then i will allow the solution to evaperate until the acetone is a smaller volume better suited for my purposes. Then i want to dip a inexpemnsive cigar in the acetone/cannibinoid mixture allowing it to absorb all the solvent. After this i want to just let the cigar lay in the sun until all the acetone would evaperate off. The main way i would judge this is by the smell and the taste. The acetone i use has very little if any additves and will usually evaperate EXTREMELY quickly especially when in sunlight. I have also thought about using isopropanol as the solvent here. My issue with that is the highest concentration of the alcohol i can get is 91 percent. Acetone also evaperates much faster than isopropanol and has a lower water content. Another plus for the acetone is from what i have read cannibinoids are more soluble in acetone as opposed to alcohols. Any one have any input here?
