Hash Cakes...

Has anyone any advice about cooking hash cakes? I'm just about to cook some. I was planning to heat the weed in butter and then use this in the cake mixture. Is it as simple as that or is there anything else I need to do?
 
be careful when you heat the hash in the butter. if it gets a bit to hot the thc will go with the bubbles out of the stuff. so heat it on a very low temperature, otherthan that you can throw it in the mix. maybe add a egg (if the box doesnt say it)

Bushmonster, it is very easy.
As BTs said, don't overheat the butter, just very lightly simmer it in butter for a short while, then strain the hash/marijuana out.
After that pretty much cook as normal. Brownies have always been easier for me than cakes, for some reason using cannabutter seems to make things a little drier. That's why it's good to add an egg even if its not listed as an ingredient, it'll help moisten up the cake a little.
