Personally FB brought the cops to my house a few times when I lived in the city.

When I was raided they wanted my uni password to my laptop or they would take it in and w/e w/e --- it wasn't my property so I didn't have much of a say. They opened it and closed it without doing anything, idk if they though drugs were hidden in there or what lol.

Just wondering how into cyber fuckery they are (local, state, fed level --- let us know which one)

I'm not sure how they would know what you're posting/texting unless they have a reason to be watching you. If you're putting all your business out on Facebook, I'm sure you'd be reported and there would be follow up. I don't think they can get texts without a warrant. If you've texted from your device or backed up to a cloud, they can see your texts, photos, pretty much everything you've done on your phone. Even if you've deleted it. It is a lot more difficult for them to get that info with all the end to end encryption stuff out now. Your service provider usually keeps a log of that stuff so they could also get it that way.
I've never had any experiences with the police wanting any info from me like this, but I watch a lot of the first 48. They do take people's phones and get info off them. Plus they use Facebook to look up profiles of people they are suspicious of.

^very true -- usually not till you are treading into some pretty heavy crime territory (on first 48 at least). FB I deleted. But Yea once they are watching you and if they ever would have a reason to I would avoid these things.

Always seemed counterintuitive the whole texting thing. I know a couple ppl whose cellphones were took and (certain area codes) were considered relevant sources to look into --- than again if I had to bet I would say both the clowns 'agreed to cooperate' which changes things completely.

I used to know a guy who had his former brother in law calling him a crack dealer on fb. Weather he was or not it doesent really matter but i beliee the rat actually got in abit of toruble for that himself.

Basically unless your big time or really doing dumb shit online you wont draw atension i dont think

Yea I had some girl calling me a drug dealer for so many years I tried to hire a lawyer for slander -- not a damn chance, idk why it was indeed public slander.
(No loss of income, but who is gunna hire me when this bitch is calling me a dealer as often as possible)

I have had them show up over some pretty petty shit but they were looking for a reason to bug me.
