Then I realized smoking weed before workouts is amazing.
Been a multisport athlete my whole life football / basketball / baseball, just football in college though.
I will say it can be over done though resulting in lazyness, what I like to do is have 1MR or some similar type of pre-workout drink and then smoke a bowl then hit the weights.
What's funny is I no longer use marijuana for anything else, just preworkout and sometimes post workout.

i've always been athletic (running, lifting, mountain biking, skiing, swimming, etc.), and my workout is usually the high point of my day (aside from sex). i LOVE to work out high. from distance running to power-lifting, i find that it increases my motivation, helps me focus more and gives me the patience to do everything i need to do.
and as for motivation, switching to a vape has helped immensely. i also take a mild stimulant (ginseng, b-vitamin, etc.), then smoke right as i'm about to head out. that way i don't have time to get comfortable sitting around.
i still smoke at other times, but in general that's before/after sex, so kinda the same idea.
