After realizing i couldn't take as prescribed daily, because the euphoria was going away, and the effects were a little weaker with a very nasty depressed feeling when it would wear off also with a giant headache, i realized to just take it every now and then when i felt i really i needed it and to also minimize addiction. After taking it as prescribed for the first 4 days (20mg ir twice a day) with strong positive effects, euphoria, sociability, concentration etc etc that's when i noticed it started to die down and the depression/headaches started.

So after the first 4 days of taking it as prescribed i took a 48 hour break, and got the same feelings back from taking it the first time, but then i realized i should take 72 hour breaks and slightly increased my dose when i took it too 60mg (a few times took a little more to avoid coming down that produced feelings of guilt) anyways after dosing at 60mg every 72 hours for a few weeks, i decided to try 96 hours since i did twice in a row the last time so as a punishment i made myself wait longer before i took it again. Again after 96 hours and a lot of vitamin c between that time, i got the first amazing feeling back again (surprised me) but it lasted a little shorter than expected so as an idiot i re-dosed which again broke my rule of never dosing more than 60mg since that is already high enough. So now i'm gonna wait longer till i do my next dose... However i had a few questions pertaining to the vitamins that many people claim works well with adderall users which is chelated magnesium and L-Tyrosine.

I also know through hours of researching that a low dose of dxm on my off days can help too, but where i live it's very hard to find products with only dxm. While constantly researching i came to the conclusion that most people had the most positive effects when taking adderall (even daily) which i'm not doing, was with taking it with chelated magnesium and/or L- Tyrosine although not at the same time but at night since they are both NDMA antagonists and in whatever way help with dopamine production, and a prevention and in some cases a reduction in adderall tolerance. I am waiting till next week to buy BOTH these vitamins to increase/maintain the positive effects of adderall when i take them. However i wanted to hear if someone personally has taken either chelated magnesium or L-Tyrosine (or both) while prescribed adderall and had any positive effects from either supplement in terms of how their adderall worked?

Taking days off isn't something most prescribed adderall users do often because they need it daily since the severity of their adhd. However i can function most days without it, and this is probably what able's me to retain some of the strong positive effects that come with the first few times of doing adderall. (Euphoria, extra motivation, major mood lift, energy, extreme concentration etc). But will (it should) taking chelated magnesium and L-Tyrosine help make anymore positive effects from when i take the adderall since i found most people to say these two supplements to work very well with adderall usage (usually not at the same time). If so how so did make the adderall work better? (lowered tolerance, longer lasting effects etc) Thanks!

I use chelated magnesium everyday, I think it reduces muscle cramps / general shitty feeling after doing too much drugs. It could all be placebo though, but as long as it works, who cares? I don't think it does fuck all for tolerance though.

Well i wouldn't be surprised if it helps with muscle cramps and general shitty feeling after doing too much drugs, since magnesium is real good for the bones, but doesn't do anything for tolerance or enhancing effects for you bummer ;(

^it does wonders for tolerance, since its a mild NMDA antagonist, which slows the development of tolerance when taken in conjunction with many different substances.

Most people are magnesium deficient. Stimulants flush the body of this mineral. Definitely should be taking it.
Ketamine is a well known ndma receptor antagonist. If that's what you're looking for taking low dose ketamine.

Magnesium is essential IMO. It gets depleted very very fast when on a strong stimulant, and most people don't have enough magnesium in their bodies as it is.

It isn't going to REDUCE tolerance, but it will help keep your tolerance around the same level for a longer period of time.

I use L-Tyrosine on days after sometimes. It depends on if I'm feeling irritable. If so I'll take 1g or so to help replenish some dopamine.

L-Theanine is also supposed to be good for lowering tolerance. It's also said to be good at counter-acting the negative side effects of amphetamines like anxiety, increased body temperature and blood pressure.

Whoa, i got the L-tyrosine and even at the typical amount of 1000mg (2 of the 500mg) i definitely can feel something going on up in my brain and felt a slight mood lift. I think it will really increase the adderall's effects the next time i take them which means i could probably lower my typical dose.

as i mentioned before magnesium is a rather mild NMDA antagonist but still there's no harm in trying it out. It worked okay for opiate tolerance for myself. I've used NMDA antagonist for stimulants like adderal or dextroamphetamine with what i would consider some success. I've also found that just staying at a regular dose and stabilizing it without any other meds works as well too tho so i don't know what conclusion you can draw from that. Euphoric effects will fade but the therapeutic effects shouldn't fade with regular use. And don't forget that amphetamines do not like acidic stomachs! eat some calcium carbonate to get better absorption or avoid citrus drinks or juices. It makes a huge difference.

most people get enough magnesium in their diet (if they eat right) but if you are taking addy all the time it's not a bad idea to take it as a supplement anyway.
