Has anyone had seizures from withdrawing from OxyContin ?

I'm told that with my current level of use if I go cold turkey I could go into seizures. I take about 240mg a day. 8 to 10 pills a day 30s. Always snort them.
Has anyone ever went into seizures? Is it really an option?

Seizures aren't a withdrawal effect from opioids. People get seizures from Benzodiazepines, Alcohol and perhaps also other GABA receptor agonists (allostearic modulators as well). I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Unless you are prone to seizures I would not worry about it. I personally have never had a seizure from opiate wd I have had a seizure from benzo wd tho.
