Anyone got any big plans for their tax returns? Or lack of?

Since I had a big period of unemployment I won't be getting much back at all, but it's going in my car fund anyway.

Discuss!

Powerbills go up 13% as of today :X

I have been looking around for good stocktake sales but had only noticed one at Peters of Kensington. Hopefully there will be a winter sale at all the surf shops in Byron soon :)

Yeah, the power bill is going to get me as well. I'm sick of the seemingly unnecessary rate rises in this country.

I should get at least a grand and plan doing the same thing I do with it every year. Registering my car. Yay.

I came within a pay of hitting the minimum threshold for HECS repayment which would have meant paying the government $1500 instead of getting anything back. *Wipes brow*

I heard from a friend today that Everton online has some solid discounts at the moment and can beat most POK prices.

Ive been paying an extra $20 tax every week since last tax time, so i shall be using what i get this year for spending money for Phuket :)

Sweet Eggman, I'm going to have a good look over that site later... it looks good :)

Hooray! I did my tax this morning and submitted it :D

The past few years I've always had to pay the tax man haha the year before last I had a tax bill of just over $38,000! (Earned a LOT of money from my previous job) This year however, the economy put me out of work so I've been doing normal jobs and earning very little. I'm gonna get a $1700 return! That's going straight to my trip to Melbourne :D
