It's that time of year where a good lot of us get together with family friends to let our hair down and spend quality time together. Time of the year for that well deserved break no matter who you are before the new year kicks in.

A thanks goes out to all of our contributors; without you we wouldn't be here. it's been a progressive year in OD. the Moderators assigned and how the forum is aligned into the harm reduction message we're wishing to portray are just scratching the surface.

A personal thanks to my moderating comrades. you guys are a dream team to work with and i look forward to the year ahead of us and the workload behind us. i see positively big things ahead for the forum

With festivities comes indulgence. and with indulgence comes risks.

so let's take a moment address a few points to be aware of :
  • know your limits and take substances in moderation. know what you're using, especially regarding polydrug use and contraindication.
  • be aware of your surroundings and friends; make sure they're alright. trip sitters, designated drivers and sober friends are all inclusive and encouraged.
  • prepare yourself for your event; hydration wise, food, cover, etc

again happy holidays to everyone and party hard and safe.

let's use this thread to spread the holiday love and festivity harm reduction measures

Not really, I'm just jealous. Been sober for too long, though it's a good thing. I might get some ketamine though this week, or freebase cocaine haha. 3+ Months sober is long enough for me.
 
Recently in Other Drugs, we've really started to develop a new core group of committed, knowledgeable, regular contributors who have taken our discourse to another level... this participation is what makes or breaks the quality of the forum and recently, I've been excited to come on and read through the new discussion everyday.

Despite this being somewhat off-topic, I don't have other opportunities to speak about these things and although I've contacted several of you individually, I want you all to know how it truly is noticed and at least on my end, appreciated!

Thank you to all who have contributed recently and made this forum even better. I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season and I absolutely look forward to the future of the forum with all of you!

I`m not biggest fan of Christmas but I`d still like to wish everyone here a happy,safe holiday with friends and family! Remember,it`s the special people in our lives that make this a nice time of year!
Now bring on the heavily laced eggnog!

Long time lurked here, over the past couple years I'm known in my group of friends as the safe one, and I always check bluelight for my information!
You guys really should know how many peoples lives you effect with your harm reduction, I believe in it fully and just wanted to really thank you all for everything you do, it's hard to tell who all wouldn't be here if it wasn't for y'all

there's a snowstorm where im at and the roads are pretty bad. which means i'll be missing the festivities tonite. i just got over 800$(us) of work done to my car and there's no way im chancing going out in this.

luckily i got all the necessities to be able to comfortably stay in the house until tomorrow evening. ;)

couldn't have had worse weather yesterday and today thus far, as has been the case with every weekend i've had off the last two months. it's that depressing i want to get my fish on.
