Yes yes yes, me me me!!! I *love* happy hardcore- anytime! When I'm rolling, it gives me such a *rush* to dance to it, when I'm not, it's still my favourite kind of music. Some of my fave songs are Time, Shooting Star, Guardian Angel, and Can't Stop Raving, and on, and on...Hee hee I'm such a candykid.

I'm from Canada though so I don't know what they play in the States, sorry!

AT LAST!!!!!
I found somebody who love happy hardcore!!!!!
Look out for the brand new Shooting Star remix. It's out now on vinyl with the unique remix and will be coming out on a compilation called Next Generation and Blatent Beats the Collection part 1 in the new year. I can't stop raving is a classic tune and My guardian Angel by vinylgroover is a nice light hardcore track as well. I like on and on aswell cause it's very dancy but not to fast. These are some of my favorite hardcore tunes:
Show Me Heaven
It's Like a Dream
Break of Dawn
My Way
Rainbows
Body Slam
Rush Hour
Diamond Eyes
Starry Night
See Me Climb
I could go on for ages. I can see you share the same passion for happy hardcore as I do so maximum respect to you 100% hardcore!!!!!
Happy Hardcore will never die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. What's the scene like in Canada and what DJ's do you have?

I live in Toronto, Canada. And it is basically the Happy Hardcore capital of North America.
Just about every party here has happy hardcore. If you really like it, you will want to come to Hullaloo 14 on Feb 5. Hullabaloo;s are always the best Happy Hardcore parties, they are thrown Anabolic Frolic -- the guy that puts out the 'Happy 2b Hardcore' CD;s

The "Happy 2B Hardcore" series is pretty good, but there is 1 HH compilation that is far and away the best I've ever heard. It's called "Sound of Happycore 97" if you ever have a chance at listening to it, do it.. you won't be disappointed.. its better than any other HH album I've ever heard..

We need more happycore here in the states...jungle and trance are wonderful but they ain't the whole enchilada baby!

Unfortunately, (as much as I'd like to) I can't come to you're hardcore parties in Canada 'cause I live in England and I just don't have the finances for the traveling etc. I've heard about anabolic frolic but I've never seen there CD's. The sound of happycore '97 is good. Nice and happy with tunes like my guardian angel, oceans apart, devotion and eternity. Our best rave in England is Helter Skelter where i'm going on NYE which you may have heard about. Unfotunately though it's there last party. I reckon that the best happy hardcore compilation for new-comers to the scene is absolute hardcore 1. I reckon the best happy hardcore compilation otherwise is BoNkErS 3.
keep it happy people!!!!!

I love happy hardcore and any hardcore for that matter. Though I must admit the knees go in for a shock when I try dance to it.
HH is the best music to lose Urself and reach for the stars.
PeaceOut

Happy Hardcore rocks! I have yet to hear it played at a party here in the States. But I like it a lot. I only have a couple HH CD's tho. But one that I DO recommend is: Speed Limit 140 BPM Vol. 8 "ON THE HAPPY HARDCORE TIP". It has some SUNNY ass beats on it. Some dark hardcore tho to.
The last place I was at that played any HH on the PA was in Germany, Extrabreit (oh how I wish they had a club like that in Chicago).
LATER!

I'm suprised to see so many bluelighters from the states listening to happy hardcore. I always thaught the scene was tiny over there although i here it is growing rapidely in Australia. I have to say though, it has been and always will be a predominantly British music. This doesn't meen to say that it shouldn't grow beyond the U.K. I here the scene is thriving in places like Germany and Sweeden however I am sad to say that HH died the big death in Holland where it once produced some of the best bouciest hardcore & Gabba the music had to offer.
Maximum respect to everbody who has replied to this topic.
Keep it hardcore happy 100% to the bone!!!!!
P.S. Does anybody know where the best websites are for happy hardcore?
