Ah, at that difficult age are we? LOL ;) I do the same, or would if other people didn't conspire against and insist on celebrating. What's to celebrate, I'm 44 next and want to be 19 again FFS! Marvellous. Haha! OK is good though. We can live with OK. :)
 
No shame in that, 29 is a good year. The best thing about birthdays (and every day for that matter) is you have a point to start fresh again. I hope this year will be good to you. :)

Edit:PIP, did you say MAPLE BACON SCONE?? Like all in one?! My mind is officially blown! =D
 
^I had distinctly written Bacon Maple Scone.

It isnt your concern atm, but Sconnies rather, as to how the bacon added this lofty smokey flavor, countering the sweetness of the maple syrup, to both be balanced out and the palate cleared by the subtleness of the scones dry doughey mix.
