Alright peoples....

I've been playing through Halo 1 on Legendary, and it reminds me of why I loved this game back in 2001. Hell, I still love it now.

Calling any and all fans of Halo! Let's hear it for this incredible game !

:)

Reporting in.

A few months ago I decided to play through all three Halo's again (I opted for Heroic).

I'm currently just over halfway through Halo 2. I think I definitely like Halo and Halo 3 a lot better than 2.

i haven't played this in ages, but i did enjoy more than the sequels, even though i probably spent much more time on each of the others in multiplayer.

i prefer its simplicity.

There's something about it that is better.

Maybe it's the nostalgic value I have attached to it, since it was the first.
But anyhow, I think it has more character than the other two games. The story is easier to follow and less cheesy. It's more cinematic without using as many cheap tricks (for example, in Halo 2, the scenes with the giant spider-like tank just don't seem in the spirit of the original Halo... in that it is not truly an interactive battle, it is too scripted. Thankfully in Halo 3 they fixed this.)
