ok so here is the deal, i was shot in iraq and was home by myself on sick leave. i was taking coke and dilaudid 8mg and shooting them up daily. over a few weeks my back began to ache. i went to the dr but they did not do anything, just gave me some flexeril. a couple weeks later my shoulder joints started hurting. soon i was in so much pain i could barely get out of bed. i went to the hospital a couple of times by ambulance but the dr did nothing. i was known to be an iv drug user by them. during this time i could not get coke or dilaudid because i was bed ridden by the pain. i was also not eating or drinking for the same reasons. it was not too long that i began to hallucinate. people in my house, walking around talking, outside, going into the closet and up some secret passage way. melting walls, melting electrical sockets, spiders bugs you name it. it got so bad that i called the police to come get the "people" out of my house. of course there was no one there. after that i began talking to my "people" if they did not reply i knew they were not real. my mother came by which is a 8 hour drive and then went home. my brother came over the next day and when i told him our mother was there he looked at me like i was nuts. he said she did not come at all. but i found the coffee cup she used so i knew she was indeed here. so finally i got to a doctor that i personally knew from university. he found that i had a sever blood infection that had settled in my joints. i really don't remember much since i was in and out of it allot. they operated on my shoulders and hip to remove the infections and i was given blood and antibiotics. they did not want to give me pain killers so i faked a seizure and i got them. i was still seeing things even after the surgery. i went to the nurse station and toll them that the guys repelling down the walls needed to wear helmets 
anyhow i spent 2 months in the hospital and another 3 months at my moms recovering. i am not sure what make me hallucinate. the infection, drugs, dehydration ...all of it. i do know i was shitting and puking in the tub when i was trying to get some relief from my shoulders. anyhow i thought i would put it out there and find out if anyone else had similar symptoms when withdrawing from IV coke and dilaudid cold turkey. oh BTW i will never do that again, i will kill myself long before it gets that bad. i was sitting in bed praying to die back then.
