What is a half life of a pile and how do you find it? Sorry, I'm kinda new to the whole drug scene. Your answers are much apriciated.

No amount of google searching for "a pile" in terms of some sort of drug or chemical yielded much information. If you took the time to suggest someone "google search" why didn't you just answer them instead! Rudeness!
To be honest, such a general colloquialism for a drug name is going to be very difficult for someone to find if they've never heard of it. It'd be like saying "i swallowed a load of houses". And then expecting someone to look it up finding nothing other than: "houses are where people live".

a half life in this case, is essentially how long it takes for half of a drug to be removed from your body (this happens a few ways). so for example, if i took drug D, at a dose of 100mg ived, and its half life was 10 hours, in 10 hours 50mg will remain in me.

More accurately it's how long it takes for plasma concentrations of the drug to halve from its peak. Just because you've taken 100mg of something doesn't mean when 50mg are left then that time was the half life, as far as I'm aware. Of course if you are IVing something as you said, 100% of the drug is bioavailable so I guess it would be the same...
